North and South were asked to take part in the Football Crest Index, a new independent publication project aimed at documenting the rich history and stories behind the crests of the greatest clubs in world football. The book delves into the rich history of each crest and the evolution of its design throughout the clubs history.
47 designers, who support each club, were hand picked to produce original and exclusive artwork to sit alongside their clubs history, giving each spread a unique execution. We illustrated one of the most exciting moments in Manchester City's history when Sergio Aguero's goal won the title for the first time in forty four years with the last kick of the 2011-12 season. The project was part of Design Manchester and held at the National Football Museum in the city.
